What is Geeks on a Farm?

Geeks On A Farm (GOAF) is a conference format for everyone who is passionate about entrepreneurships, startups, technology, design, and making the world a better place. We aim to “Bring Together Entrepreneurs from Germany and France” to network and to have a great time together. The event will be held in the Schloss Ortenberg, Germany on May 28 to 30, 2015.

I'm coming by train/plane/boat how can I come to the venue?

We'll arrange carpooling from the main train stations and airports around the venue, just contact us via Twitter, Facebook or email and we’ll help you arrange a hassle- and stress free journey to our venue. What will happen at GOAF?

Geeks on a Farm is a 3 days event 28-29-30 May 2015. There will be panel discussions with renowned speakers from different sectors of the German and France startup and technology scene. We will also have talks, networking events, fire pitches, tasty food, and interesting workshops. Most of all, Geeks On A Farm will be a priceless opportunity to network with like minded geeks from Germany and France.

What is the target audience of GOAF?

The target audience is startuppers and wanabee startuppers.

How is it related to Geeks On A Plane and Geeks On A Beach?

Well, Geeks On A Plane and Geeks On A Beach are the inspirations for Geeks On A Farm. Chris met the Geeks On A Plane in Bangalore, India in 2011 and joined the Geeks On A Beach event on Boracay, Philippines, last year. He liked the format a lot and thought about hosting a similar event in the Black Forest region.

Who is behind Geeks on a Farm?

Geeks On A Farm is organized by Alsace Digitale, Strasbourg Startups. We are the people behind Startup Weekend Strasbourg, Black Forest Accelerator, Hacking Health Camp and other events in the Alsace/Upper Rhine Valley Region -- “all of which help educate, support and empower people to become entrepreneurs”.

What is Alsace Digitale?

Alsace Digitale is a non-profit, independent community of technology, business and startup enthusiasts in the Alsace, France.

How much does a ticket cost?

99€ in early bird, 139€ after.

What does the ticket price cover?

The registration fee covers the participation to all talks, panels and workshops on May 28 to May 30. It also covers lunch, dinner, breakfast and coffee breaks on these days. Our planned venue is here. Ah, and we will have a bag full of cool goodies from our great sponsors.
